The castle is largely ruined, with almost no architectural remains surviving intact; only a section of the southern rampart wall still stands. Surface finds from the Roman, Byzantine and Ottoman periods can be seen. The area around Gebeli Castle (Kötü Castle, 'Bad Castle') also features Roman-era rock tombs, the remains of a Roman bath, currently unidentified structural ruins, and caves used as storerooms.
