Editor's Note
It can be said that the design was made by Mimar Sinan and that the architects and master builders he sent carried out the construction. The caravanserai was restored by the Payas Municipality between 2011 and 2013. As a result of this restoration, the municipality was awarded the prize of the Foundation for the Protection and Promotion of Environmental and Cultural Values.
