Editor's Note
Built of stone and brick with a square ground floor and a round upper section, the structure is thought to be a Byzantine-era military building dating to the 5th century. In the damage assessment carried out after the 6 February earthquakes, the building, designated CEY-20, showed no signs of earthquake damage.
