Lokman Hekim Mosque stands within the historic fabric of the ancient city of Misis, in the Yakapınar (Misis) township of the Yüreğir district of Adana province. As part of the excavation work that began in 2012, restoration of the caravanserai and reconstruction work on the Lokman Hekim Mosque were also carried out.
