Editor's Note
This is a six-arched stone bridge over the Karasu River. The bridge is believed to date to the 16th century. Built on the road that ran from Ceylanli Village toward Aleppo in earlier times, the bridge still stands and remains in sound use. Known locally as Tas Kopru (Stone Bridge), it is said by some to have been commissioned by "the wife of a tribal chief" who once lived in the area, while it is also thought to have been built by the architect Mimar Sinan.
