Editor's Note
The Aesepus Bridge was a late antique Roman bridge over the Aesepus River (Gönen Çayı) in the ancient region of Mysia. Though largely ruined today, its piers have survived thanks to the hollow-chamber construction system used in the region's Roman bridges.
