Editor's Note
İskenderun station is the main railway station of İskenderun in Hatay, located in the Çay neighbourhood. Built in 1913 during the Ottoman era, it is the southern terminus of the Toprakkale-İskenderun branch line that connects the province to the Adana-Gaziantep main line, and today serves the Mersin-İskenderun regional train. Used mostly by freight trains, the station was heavily damaged in the 2023 earthquakes; it also makes a brief appearance in the film Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.
