The Serife Dudu Hanim Fountain is a street fountain built in the last quarter of the 18th century. The exact construction date of the structure is unknown; however, there is an endowment deed indicating that between 1800 and 1805 Hacce Serife Dudu Kadin, daughter of Semsettin Zade Haci Mehmet, had a fountain built next to the Nakip Mosque. This deed was drawn up in AH 1217 / AD 1802. The wording in the deed shows that the fountain was first built before the deed itself, which is why the construction date is assessed as the last quarter of the 18th century.
