'Lying about 3 km southwest of Boğsak Island, 1 km south of Tahta Limanı Cove and only 200 m off the shore, Güvercin Island is a small rocky islet measuring 150 x 60 m. The remains on the island can be said to belong to a wealthy Late Antique residential complex.' [Günder Varinlioğlu]
