Editor's Note
Balbura (Balboura) was a town of ancient Lycia, southeast of the Altınyayla district of Burdur Province at Karaçulha. Together with Bubon and Cibyra it formed the northernmost part of Lycia, and with Bubon and Oenoanda it was a member of the Lycian League. Its acropolis hill stands about 90 metres above the plain of Katara.
