Editor's Note
Oenoanda (Oinoanda) was a Lycian city in the upper valley of the River Xanthus. Its ruins lie on a high, isolated site west of the village of İncealiler near Fethiye in Muğla Province. The city is noted for the philosophical inscription carved by the Epicurean Diogenes of Oenoanda, and its name suggests it was known for viticulture.
