Editor's Note
Arsada (or Arsadus) is an ancient Lycian city near Arsaköy in the Seydikemer district of Muğla Province. It sits on the foothills of the Taurus Mountains above the Xanthus valley, between the ancient cities of Tlos and Xanthos. The name means "flowing water" in Luwian and Lycian, fitting the streams found around the site. Because no detailed archaeological research has been carried out, little is known about the city.
