It is located on the seashore in the center of Samandağ. It is one of the most visited sites of faith in the region. According to Muslims, it is the place where the prophets Hızır (al-Khidr) and Moses met. To Christians it is known as Mar Circus or St. George. It is famous as a place where people of every faith come to make vows and pray. It is a site of pilgrimage especially for Alevis and Orthodox Christians.
