Editor's Note
Sobesos is an ancient city near Şahinefendi village, about 23 km from Ürgüp in Nevşehir Province. The site was recognized after some ruins around the village were noticed by chance, and excavations were begun by the Nevşehir Museum Directorate in 2002.
