The Hüseyin Bey Fountain was built by Kazanasmazzâde Hacı Abdurrahman Ağa, a notable of Bafra, as a charitable foundation in memory of his son Hüseyin Bey, who died young of tuberculosis. The fountain has a hexagonal plan, each face framed with floral-motif decoration. Two of its faces bear Ottoman Turkish inscriptions in celi sülüs script, dated AH 1326-1327. Its conical roof is clad in copper, and a fluted wooden drip-edge runs along the eaves.
