The Bayezid II Complex in Amasya is a kulliye built by the Ottoman sultan Bayezid II on a wide site along the Yeşilırmak river. Comprising a mosque, medrese, soup kitchen, school and bridge, it was founded by the sultan in gratitude for his accession to the throne. The mosque, damaged by earthquakes and floods over time, was repeatedly repaired, while the 18-cell medrese building today serves as the Provincial Public Library.
