Editor's Note
A museum opened in 2014 by the Bursa Metropolitan Municipality to study and bring to life the city's history of migration. It is located free of charge on the second floor of the Merinos Atatürk Congress and Culture Center in Merinos Park. Through reconstructions using trains, ox-carts and ferries, it depicts the process from the Turkic migration into Anatolia to the Ottoman expansion into the Balkans, and the migrations to Anatolia from the Balkans, the Caucasus and Crimea.
