Editor's Note
The Istavroz Bath stood beside the Abdullah Ağa Mosque, on plot 2 of block 702. The site of the bath, which no longer exists today, is now run as a parking lot. The building was constructed in 1618 and was an endowment of Öküz Mehmet Pasha, Grand Vizier of Osman II. No information about the building's plan survives. First burned in 1633, it later suffered another fire and was rebuilt. By 1943 it was in ruins and was demolished.
