Editor's Note
The Zihnipaşa Mansion (Ziverbey Mansion), the subject of many books, eventually fell into ruin; a housing complex was built on its large garden, and beside it the park known today as Kuşluk Park, named for the birds' nests there, was created. It stood on Sultan Street in the 19 Mayıs neighborhood; it was demolished and the Ateş Pare housing complex was built in its place.
