Editor's Note
Located at No. 33 Hüsrev Gerede Caddesi in the Teşvikiye district, this building was designed by Sedad Hakkı Eldem and built in 1934. [1] Together with the Satie building, the Firdevs Hanım apartment is regarded as one of the first examples of Corbusian purism in Turkey; [2] it was demolished in 2011 and a new building constructed in its place.
