Editor's Note
Çakıldağ Han stood within the boundaries of the village of Çakıldağ Han in Sinop, but it was completely demolished during road-widening works and has not survived to the present day. The only concrete evidence of its existence is its position marked on Kiepert's map; all other information about the building rests on oral accounts passed down by local people. Although there is insufficient data on its architectural features and function, the researcher believes it was more of a coffee stop than a caravanserai in the classical sense.
