Editor's Note
It forms the border with Hopa to the east of the district. It stands at an altitude of 600 m within the borders of the Yukari Hacilar neighbourhood. This castle, dating from the Genoese period, has not been sufficiently studied. It was used as a watchtower. The castle was registered as a historic asset in 2010. At present, cleaning and archaeological excavation work continues at Ciha Castle. Excavation work has been suspended due to winter conditions. In the coming years, implementation work is planned, including restoration and reinforcement.
