Editor's Note
According to the photograph caption identified in the Abdülhamid II Archive, it reads: "A photograph taken at the opening of the noble mosque newly built in the name of Sultan Ahmed Han III in the village of Beyaz, attached to the Çorlu Imperial Estates Branch, under the auspices of His Eminence the Caliph. In the years 1320 and 1318 (1900)." The building has not survived, and a new mosque was built in its place. The inscription from the old building was placed on the wall of the new mosque.
