It is located in the Dokuzkardeşler locality of Karacahöyük village, Çerkeş district, at coordinates (X) 4534735, (Y) 502121. It takes its name from the 9 forks emerging from its trunk. The tree, known to be of the species Pinus nigra (black pine), has a trunk that splits into 9 forks after 1.50 meters. The tree stands 25 meters tall and covers an area of 465 m². One of the nine forked branches is broken. Estimated to be about 200 years old, the tree's overall health is good.
