Editor's Note
The name of a region, city and valley of the ancient Troad or Mysia, watered by the Granicus River. The eponymous city held an oracle of Apollo and Artemis; the temple had already been destroyed by the time of Strabo, its stones reused to build a large altar. Parium served as a port of the region.
