Editor's Note
It is located within the bounds of Akköy village in the Ezine district of Çanakkale province. With its striking ceramics and production materials still notable today, Akköy was one of the important pottery-making centres of the Beylik and Ottoman periods. Abundant glazed and unglazed ceramic fragments are found in the area, though the ceramic kilns no longer survive. There are also the remains of an Ottoman-period bathhouse by the stream in the area.
