Yusufiye Hanı

The Yusufiye Han is located in central Bitlis and is also known as the Wheat Market Han. Today only its arched entrance remains standing 1, and it probably dates to the 17th century. A bank building was erected in place of the han, while the lion-relief stones from its entrance are preserved in the garden of the Bitlis Provincial Public Library. No information about the building's plan survives, and the oldest image showing its façade arrangement appears in a 1957 photograph album. 2
