Editor's Note
The headquarters building was constructed in 1915 and has two storeys. During the Greek occupation it was used as the headquarters of the occupying forces. A stone mosaic floor lies in front of the main door. Inside there are ceiling decorations with plant motifs, and fragments of Hebrew inscriptions were reused in the outer walls. Today it serves as the Regional Recruitment Office and garrison command.
